Our Pre-style cream is tailored to two groups of hair shapes: straight to wavy, and curly to coily. To choose, imagine your hair has been freshly washed and left to air-dry. What shape do the majority of the strands take?
Tip: If your hair has been permanently straightened or styled, refer to the shape your hair currently takes when air-dried.

Straight to wavy
If your hair strands naturally dry straight, form a loose wave, or a more distinct S-shape with some spiral curling, select a straight to wavy formula.

Curly to coily
If your hair strands naturally dry into loose spiral curls and ringlets, tighter corkscrew or S-curls, or a closely-coiled Z-pattern, select a curly to coily formula.
Our Pre-style cream formulas are enriched with nourishing conditioning ingredients, including oil blends. Each variant has been carefully developed to deliver optimum conditioning benefit, without weigh-down on the hair.
Conditioning preference can be influenced by multiple factors, and can change over time, depending on your hair's condition and styles.
Light conditioning
Our light conditioning formulas use grapeseed oil to nourish without adding excess weight to the hair. If your hair strands are finer, or your overall hair density thinner, select a light conditioning formula.
Rich conditioning
Our rich conditioning formulas use more intensely nourishing ingredients, such as castor seed oil, to condition and enhance softness and shine. If your hair is thicker, in strand diameter and/or density, or is especially dry or damaged, you may prefer a rich conditioning formula.
