Dyson on Forbes 2023's ‘World’s Best Employers’ and global top 100 ‘Female-Friendly Companies’
Dyson has again featured on Forbes’ “World’s Best Employer” and “World’s Top Companies for Women” lists - moving up 61 and 46 places respectively.
Powered by Statista, 170,000 people in 50 countries are surveyed for World’s Best Employer list, and more than 70,000 in 37 countries for the Top Companies for Women. Respondents feedback on criteria such as talent development, diversity and pride in the company, as well as gender pay equity and opportunities for advancement.
At Dyson, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging are important values and we are proud to state that:
- Across global senior management, 44% of new appointees made this past year identify as female – meaning that we have more women in global leadership positions than ever before.
- 2023 saw our largest graduate intake to date, with more than 260 graduates joining worldwide from over 70 universities and 25 nationalities. 49% of our recent graduate cohort identify as female.
- 33% of Undergraduate Engineers at the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology are female, compared to a sector average of 18% for engineering and technology undergraduate courses.
