Dyson partners with Good Housekeeping to celebrate its 100th anniversary
On the 14th and 15th of October 2022, Good Housekeeping Live attendees were able to immerse themselves in the latest Dyson technologies and attend an exclusive panel talk featuring Dyson Ambassadors.
Dyson partnered with Britain’s biggest-circulating lifestyle magazine Good Housekeeping for a two-day event celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary year and longstanding relationship with Dyson.
The in-person lifestyle experience took place on the 14th and 15th of October 2022 at Carlton House Terrace, a fitting location for attendees to experience an array of best-in-class actions from Dyson. This included an interactive Dyson home using augmented reality, a pet science area, as well as a wall of fame product demonstration, and complementary hair styling sessions with experienced Dyson Stylists.
Britain's consumer champion for 100 years, the Good Housekeeping Institute is known as the most widely recognised source of accurate and trusted product reviews. Over the years, numerous Dyson machines have been carefully awarded the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) seal of approval following rigorous tests. Ten of these machines where showcased at the event and consumers could get hands on with all of the products and ask questions to Dyson Experts and Engineers.

Charlie Park, Vice President of Floorcare at Dyson said: "We are more conscious than ever before about our living environment and with Dyson's pioneering technology we can help people create cleaner homes and spaces. Dyson technology has been rigorously tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute for almost 30 years, and it's wonderful to see that our products continuously excel in their testing. We are delighted to partner with Good Housekeeping to celebrate this special anniversary year."
On attending the event, one consumer remarked: ‘I highly appreciated how much research Dyson have put into our environmental health and I was fascinated by the sight of that. That was amazing’
As headline sponsor, Dyson also held a sold-out panel discussion on the topic of ‘how to create a happy, clutter-free home’ based on the data collected in Dyson’s 2022 annual global Dust Study which dives deep into the cleaning habits of people in countries all around the world to help us better understand household dust and the impact it can have on our well-being.
The panel talk chaired by Good Housekeeping’s Deputy Editor, Emma Justice featured organisational expert and star of BBC’s Sort Your Life Out, Dilly Carter (aka Declutter Dollies), UK mental health ambassador Dr Alex George and leading Dyson microbiologist, Dennis Matthews.
