Case study
The Kia Oval
The business
The Kia Oval is a 26,000-seater cricket stadium in the heart of London. As one of Britain’s oldest sporting venues, it hosted the first international Test cricket in England in 1880.
The problem
"We were using a combination of warm air dryers and paper towels, but maintaining a clean washroom was difficult," explains Richard Gould, Chief Executive.
“Water dripped on the floor, and the paper towels required constant restocking and bin emptying to avoid mess. Our warm air dryers were slow and it was all expensive to run.”
The solution
-
Low running costs
Airblade™ technology costs up to 99% less to run than paper towels and 86% less than other hand dryers. The Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer dries 15 pairs of hands for the price of a single paper towel.⁺
-
No water on the floor
With the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer there’s no need to move to a separate drying area, so no water is dripped on the floor – leaving washrooms cleaner.
-
No paper towel mess
Discarded paper towels can create a negative impression of washroom cleanliness. The Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer uses two high-speed sheets of air to dry hands. There’s no paper, and no mess.
